This is Kurt and Kurt's Stairs. My friend Daniel came to visit me and he got back home with some old Brazilian records plus a whole unexpected Kurt's Thomes experience.
Kurt was in his library downstairs that is usually open to the public but he also give us a small tour on the private side of his house, not only this stairs you see but a wall full of records, another one with some of his personal book collection, he played some records and told us amassing stories.
It was so amassing, totally unexpected totally magical, totally super awesome.
He owns a book store on the first floor of his home, all about African American History, very interesting, WORD is the name of it and is located on 160th street between Sn. Nicholas and Edgceombe across from Jumel mansion and is open by appointment or simply drop by and ring the bell.
